Chapter 2: A Night To Remember (but, in a good way?)

Rosalinda was skipping and twriling in her new dress and her beautiful hair (careful not to mess up either of them). Her dress was a beautiful navy blue but inbetween the ruffless a very small line of light pink. The dress had sparkels all over. The dress was strapless and was in the form of a balarina outfit. The dress, to the queen, was very middle-class like. She thought it was like a dress a peasent would buy if they had a wedding or something else really important; but what could the queen do about it, it was her daughter´s Last Princess Ball.
The Last Princess Ball is a ball that all the princesses from Emerea must go through. It is the last day the princess, at the time, is a princess. It has been tradition since 1822 and is still a custom in 2008. The day of the Last Princess Ball or something that will be used on the day of the Last Princess Ball must be given or done to the princess that will be having the celebration. Rosalinda wanted a middle-class dress and so she got it. She also wanted all the kingdom to be invited (all of them got an invitation except jail people and people on provation also people who have been know to be in juvie, jail, and or prison).
It was the day before the L.P.B. (that´s what Rosa called Last Princess Ball) and the queen was very nervous remembering the catastrophy of her Last Princess Ball:
"Mommy must I wear that horendous dress?" the younger version of Queen Lidia asked her stern mother (at this time Queen Lidia was Princess Lidia).
"No. You don´t have to wear that dress... I´ll just be very depresed and sad that my daughter looks like a stupid peasent! But do whatever you want!" Lidia´s mom, Elizabeth, narrowed her eye´s at her daughter and turned around walking gracefully.
Lidia had worn a puffy tan dress, the dress her mom had wanted her to wear, to her L.P.B. . Lidia had minggled and danced alot and was tired, eating some fat-free cake... she was busy at this party (she was also busy kissing the man that her parents had chosen for her, Prince Henry Roland Terase.) Lidia was on top of the world... but then it happened. She was dancing in the center of the ball room, no one was around her except her king-to-be... it was the Last Princess Dance, the last dance she would have as a princess. Her dancing was beautiful and graceful and everything her dancing instructor had tought her. She started moving in a slow motion when Prince Henry stepped on her dress. The dress was very delicate because of it´s fabric, so right when he stepped on her dress, the bottom half came loose...; her bottom half was completely visible and, after a moment of complete silence, the crowd of VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE started laughing!
When Queen Lidia came back to the present she shuddered and was happy her daughter had chosen a strong fabric dress. Lidia was also happy she had forbidden people of Emerea to talk about that night... but she was suddenly feeling crule for putting twenty-one people in jail for speaking of that night.
